I'm 4 months into the FUE Hair Transplant process. Let me just say that I look way better than I did in my 1 month video. All the hair that fell out appears to be regrowing. I'm hoping in the coming months that more will continue to grow and thicken up. Well, I'm one week into the healing process and I'm pretty HAPPY with the results thus far. Everything looks good and the hairs are still growing. Long post: Hey Mike, no creep but I look forward to your uploads because I am same ageish/attitude/have same hairline/had same HT 2 months behind you w/ Dr. Nadimi so it's sort of like looking into the future a bit. Again, we are both on the same page that we will need more HT....I also don't care about losing hair past 40-50. Also, I think both of us experienced traumatic experiences that may have slowed growth due to Cortisol (ur roommate situation? u may have mentioned and i had a bad injury). Please remember you are JUST entering the volume stage, your hairline is set but its just going to start filling in now and you have up to 4-6 more months of volumization, if you want a second HT I'd set in stone now. TONS of my friends have noticed and mine looks even more sparse than yours. Go back in your pics, you've made great progress - but - I again wish I had gone lower as well...Once you start growing those new hairs out and styling them it'll look better. I think I will go back to Nadimi for another one but her wait time is so long...would love to link up and talk some time if I'm back in town for a check up with Nadimi, I'm also considering others but feel safe with her. take it easy man and again it looks great!

    I think she didn't go with the lower hairline due to the fact the donor is limited and your hair loss may progress in the future and you'll need those extra hair to cover the midscalp/crown area. The prices in the US are borderline savage and going to someone line Dr. Nadimi or Konior makes it even more expensive but at least you're not concerned about the quality after getting your surgery. Turkey has a lot of commercial institutes that are digital marketers rather than real pros but needless to say that there are great Drs there as well who charge higher (still less than here in the US). Another option that I have been recently checking is Eugenix in India which seems to be doing a good job. A lot of marketing but the results (especially the ones done by the Drs) seem to be very promising.

      @@brownwaterwings Hey man I really appreciate the kind words. It does look good and you are totally right, so much better... but I still like to be critical in the way the doctors do these procedures since more progress needs to be made on this issue of hair loss. And for the amount we pay it makes sense to be overly critical then under, even if the surgeon is top notch. Its a big deal for all of us as i'm sure you know. I'm grateful for the results so far, I am, I just feel she could have pushed the envelope with me per the thickness of my hair follicles. I just feel these transplants are processed out to make the most dime in the U.S.. Maybe I'm wrong but that's my consensus. lol but hey I really appreciate you keeping with my progress and support. It looks great so far. Did you consult with other doctors in Chicagoland before choosing Dr. Nadimi (Konior, Panine, etc)? Also, did Dr. Nadimi give you the prescription for oral minoxidil, primary doctor, or other?

    • @BUXation
      @BUXation 2 роки тому

      Hey thanks so much I really appreciate that! You know Panine was the first surgeon I was going to go with. I went to his site filled in the application... and never got a response back. :/ that triggered a red flag from the start even though I've seen his videos and photos that looked good. IDK. So I went with Konior's office. I expected to get Konior but they hooked me up with Nadimi when I applied on the site, and I just decided to go with her since she is with the same office and she responded instead of Konior through email. Though, research on her was limited so I took a huge chance. I can say she is good though since my hair is growing in nicely. Other transplant things like bostly looked too corporate for me and that is just a personal observation (which is why I feel the U.S. charges way too much at any facility). Dr. Nadimi prescribed me the oral minoxidil and offered finasteride but I declined on it's use since I was already on it for a year prior and saw no noticeable difference. Receding hairline was still a receding hairline ya know. lol Don't want to fool myself by taking it. Surgery is the only way to get hair back unfortunately. 2021 and you would think someone would have cracked the code for men to regrow their hair in pill form or something. lol Anyway please subscribe and follow my progress. Thank again!

      @@BUXation do you think she would have been willing to go lower if you pushed it a little harder? Im in the process of trying to schedule an in-person consultation with her and think I’ll be in the same position as you with my hairline so just wondering what to expect. @BUXation 2 роки тому

      Hey I appreciate your comment. I believe you are in the shock phase. I recommend checking out my videos from earlier and you will see that I lost a lot of hair to the point it was almost scary and worse then before the surgery. But Hold tight and give yourself the time. We all respond differently unfortunately. I know I have thick hair so my results will differ from those with thin hair. With that said, I drink from time to time but nothing that would deteriorate my results. I just started exercising so I don't think this is a must for results, in fact probably no correlation. I was stressed when I got it of course and have been with work so stress levels are moderate though lately not so much. I stopped taking finasteride after being on it for a year and honestly I didn't notice anything different so I didn't want to be hooked on a drug with the potential to mess up my fertility in the long term. I would rather dish out more money to have more transplants then screw that up (not that I had any issues on it). The oral midoxidil is working fine I think but after a year I will get off of it and maybe I'll do a two year post video or something. Hope this helped give you better insight! Still following brother.. all the sites say wait until about 6-9 months to really have any opinion on it!

      Your support is much appreciated. I agree with you fully about holding my final opinion until the later months. I won't make any concluding judgment on the entirety of the process until a full year has passed. For now these are my thoughts thus far into the process. Thank you and have a good one!

    I don't think 1500 is enough for that area. What happens when your kowe hairline grows in won't it look weird

    • @BUXation
      @BUXation 2 роки тому

      Perhaps... even if it's not an ideal hairline it will still look 10x better than have missing hair in that area regardless, this is why it is up to you to rely on the doctors judgement and recommendation of the hairline vs what you think you want. This is the risk we all take when undergoing this or any kind of body modification procedure.

    I think it looks very good and natural. The way you say it should be lower is very risky to look unnatural in my opinion. Turkey is extremely risky in most clinics. Messing up a hair transplant is a horrible possibility, at least now you will have a natural hairline in what in my opinion seems the correct place for your age. For me the idea is that no one should be able to tell that you had something done and that you don't seem to be balding. In my opinion that is what you should be ending up with in the next 9 months.

      Hey I appreciate your comment. Do you know what clinics/doctors specifically your are referring to in Turkey that are risky? That way others can better identify and research when looking. As for the hairline, I don't think a lower line necessarily adds an unnatural look. I researched many videos and comments with most people saying that others do not even notice that that had a transplant unless they mentioned it. The basic hairline doctors propose has a bit of an M shape or how they did mine but I have followed others that have done a straight hairline with exceptionally good results imo. My only concern was that the doctor kept recommending I go higher and looking back in hindsight I feel like her judgement on that was bit much when my hair is naturally thick which I think helps the fact that I could have possible went lower. Please subscribe and continue to follow. I won't make any concluding judgement until a full year has passed. Thanks again!

      @@BUXation I get what you are saying. I think your doctor was probably very conservative. I do think you went to a very good doctor from looking at Dr Nadimi's other patients in the forums and her Instagram. I get most of my info from the hair restoration networking forums and I know there are a handful of ethical and quality clinics in Turkey but since it is the hair transplant capital of the world there are way too many cuestionable ones. Dr. Koray in ASMED clinic in Istanbul seems to be OK. If interested in Turkey or Europe for very economical and good clinics you should check out the mentioned forum. Take car and looking forward to your updates.

    how many grafts you took for the procedure and how much the over all cost

    • @BUXation
      @BUXation 2 роки тому

      I had approximatly 1700 grafts. This clinic charged me 14k. I could have went to other doctors for less, or Turkey for considerably much less, but because Nadimi was part of Konior's office (considered one of the top hairtransplant facilities) I decided to take a chance under her care. Also since this was the frontal part of my head I was willing to dish out the extra money for a good clinic. If I get another procedure to fill it in more or the back of my head then I will probably do it internationally. Hope this helps. Please subscribe and follow the journey if you aren't already. Thanks for your comment.
